We will pull through

Hosford Family,

How is everyone doing? Things are going well enough here. The Christmas season has ended and the work is picking up a little bit. It was nice. I got Amy's Christmas card and mail from others including a package from Matt and Staci.

Not a whole lot has been going on. We have been teaching this brother's family. They are all members but he is the only one active (Fratello Romano). He was disfellowshipped or something like ten year ago and about a year or so ago he became active again. He is the Elder Quorum president now and he is a cool guy. About every Monday we go over to his house and teach his wife, youngest son Marco and Marco's girlfriend Rosa. The mom and Marco are a bit of a distraction. Rosa wants to come to church but they hold her back. So we are working with them.

Also, we are working with this guy named Domenico Galardo, his family, and his fiance. After like two months of work he is starting to come back to Church. He has come with his girlfriend the past two weeks and his dad came last week. We are also working a bit with Domenico's mom who is so nice, but not a member. She always hears our messages.  Hopefully with time.

So before we went to FHE at Brother Romano's we did some house in his area and we found a taught a lesson while doing house which has never happened with me before. This lady let u sin to her house and we taught to her and her husband a bit of the first lesson about the Book of Mormon. They were very open to our message and we will be seeing them tomorrow after zone conference which I am very excited for. Her name is Stefania and his name is Jefferson. She is Italian and he is from Brazil and they have a 1-year-old son. we hope they act on our message. A family baptism in the branch would be wonderful.

Last night at English course, we had this girl named Oriana as us for a copy of the Book of Mormon. She is very nice and very cute. She is very nice and very cute.  We are a little scared to teach her because she is pretty, but I believe we will pull through.

We have a couple of other people who really aren't progressing and that's about it here.

Something funny.  Like two Saturdays ago I hurt my back again playing basketball. I wasn't able to do anything for a couple of days, but then on P-day we went and played basketball on base  and my comp hurt his bank in the same exact way I did. (Bending over and pickup up a basketball). So we went to the base hospital cause he couldn't move and I got a ride in an ambulance with him  So he was unable to do anything for the rest of the week. So we were both out of action for an ENTIRE week. It was nice down time, but we went crazy after a while.

I hope everyone is doing well.  We have transfer calls this Saturday. After these last couple days I am split whether I want to stay or not. I do want to leave Pampagna though.  Well, Love you all.  Look forward to your letters. -- Anz. Hosoford
